Gesture Sketches

A Seattle day in the eighties! What’s a girl to do but be outside? I took my sketchbook and Niji waterbrush on an art date to Woodland Park Zoo. We practiced gesture sketching—quick 30 sec. to 2 min. depictions of moving (well, ok, some not so moving) animals. A great way to spend an afternoon.
