Ticklette 4

More play with masking fluid and washes of whatever leftover pigments remain on my palette (I hate wasting paint). I rotate the paper while working because, as you see here, this Ticklette sadly resembles a macabre Darth Vader-esque Santa Claus (creepy)…

Macabre Santa

Upon rotation it better resembles a wild landscape of red hills, blue water and sky and a central area of agricultural fields (okay, so my imagination is a bit optimistic, but there you have it). So, which orientation do you prefer?

  1. To me this looks like a pope in a golden gladiator mask.
