Acrylic ‘Vibrating Eggs’

This piece explores a technique called ‘palimpsest’ in its background where pigment is dropped and swirled, allowed to partially dry, then wiped away so only some remains. Then more layers of different pigments are added the same way. Once I had enough of that I saw open circular areas that looked like eggs and I painted the yellow and red around them.
