On the University of Washington campus, there is a beautiful grassy corridor named Rainier Vista. Guess why.

  1. Can’t imagine the reason for the name — maybe it’s related to the significant amount of rain that falls in Seattle??

    Quite a stunning vista — regardless of how the name came to be.
