There are many ‘floating home’ communities around Seattle. Yep, lots of water. Here is the edge of one such neighborhood, peeking out from under the Ship Canal Bridge—a major N-S freeway arterial. I hope these homes have double-paned windows!

What an intriguing little water-borne community. Love the lush bank of soft green trees behind the buildings. Is it homes or stores or cafes?? Who lives there or who shops there??
